For Sale - Conn 52J, lacquer finish, previously owned by Andrew Hitz (formerly of Boston Brass). This Conn 52J is an excellent example of the 5xJ series from Conn with clear tone and excellent low range for a compact 4/4. It has some lacquer wear (see photos) as well as small dings in the bottom bow; none of which effects the tone quality or intonation. Professionally maintained by Rob Phillips at Buckeye Brass & Winds.
Intonation: Very solid overall. Three pitches require some adjustment - F2, E2, and E3.
