FS: PT-10 F Tuba - Silver SOLD

Hi all,
Did you just your stimulus check and want to use it to help purchase a new tuba? You've come to the right place.
For sale is a B&S PT-10 in silver. This is an excellent example of the model, and is very easy to play. Response and pitch are both very easy. Low register is better than most rotary valve F tubas in my experience. Frankly, the low register is better than the piston version PT-10P I used to own several years ago.
My reason for selling is simply due to me wanting to go in a different direction with my bass tuba.
It is silver plated and has five rotary valves, all right hand. Silver is 100% intact. There are a couple very small dents, but nothing outrageous. I tried my best to show them in the pictures. The valves are VERY good on this horn. They feel smoother than any other tuba I've owned.
It comes with a blue Cronkhite bag. I was told by the previous owner that this was likely the last bag that Mr. Cronkhite made for the PT10 model. That being said, the bag itself is in very good condition.
Horn is located in East Lansing, MI. However, I do make the occasional trip to visit my parents in Northeast Ohio, so I would be happy to drive there in order to facilitate a local sale. Shipping expenses and insurance would be paid by the buyer.
I am asking $8000 plus shipping, but I am open to reasonable offers. The worst I can say is no, so don't hesitate to reach out with a reasonable offer
