Hey guys, I'm selling this Jean Baptiste 3-Valve Tuba I have.
Yeah Yeah, it's Chinese. I bought it before I was educated in the world of fine instruments. At the moment my naive self wanted something new & shiny. It was my first Tuba I used to learned on (so it served its purpose) & bought from Sam Ash for $1500.

Any thoughts on what I should price it at? (No jokesters lol)
I'm trying to get rid of it since I have two sousaphones, an old reynolds, & I bought a Wessex Mighty Midget.
But hurts taking such a loss but I get it.

Thanks.

The current market is not in your favor.

That being said, there are a lot of kids without a horn for an unknown period of time.

I think your target around $1000 isn’t unreasonable, but $700-800 would probably move it quickly.

If you sell it for $700 you just rented it for $33/month. That’s not a bad deal!!

Looks like a nifty little tooter for me.

That's a good way to think about it lol
Makes it easier to swallow a 50% loss lol

I’d probably list it at some odd price that makes it seem rather “computed” as opposed to “arbitrary” since that might slow people down from haggling.

I’d probably list it for something like $955 and see where the offers go from there.
