For sale is a very unique F tuba. I've owned this horn since 2016 when I bought it from a friend. It has served me great as my first F tuba. There are a couple of dents(see photo). The sound is something else! It has your usual rotor F tuba quirks but having 6 valves alleviates that. The 5th valve is a quint valve (trigger open is low Bb) and the low range is an animal on this thing.
Comes with an Altieri gig bag.
Located in Denver,Co
Buy pays shipping if needed.
Asking 3,500.00 USD
I have my eye on a few F tubas but if anyone is interested in a trade plus cash I am open to that. (trade being I give you more money plus my horn for yours). Either a 45slp, an 822, pt-10R or something along those lines.
I hope everyone is staying and healthy and safe during these troubling times.

I have benn interested in the Cerveny Harmonie F for over 10 years. Too bad the lacquer is off, I don't want to smell like brass hands ever again.

I very nearly bought this tuba about 3 times before. Not in the cards this time, but I did own the related 653. A nice tuba

Re: FS: 6v Cerveny Harmonia F Tuba
You will be hard pressed to find a better solo F tuba. Every note can be played solidly in tune once you figure out the near limitless valve combinations, and low Bb and below are very open with the large bore quint valve. Both Wade and I did a few minor mods on it that further improved it. The receiver and leadpipe were formerly smaller and the first owner after us cut off the small end of the leadpipe and added an AGR to allow any size mouthpiece, this opened up the horn even much more. I briefly had the horn a second time after that but had to let it go. It would be interesting if the next owner could find a way to get a stock leadpipe back on it, from what I remember the leadpipe was actually two pieces so you would only need the front part.

Re: FS: 6v Cerveny Harmonica F Tuba
I tracked it down back when I was still in tewba kolij, when I owned a rusk F, I think, but the owner didn't want to let it go. Kind of a shame it shows up after I decide to walk away from the tuba world.the elephant wrote:HA! That is my old horn. I did most of the modifications* to it if anyone wants to know about them. This tuba has a great sound and project
Also, I should clarify it was my first F tuba, and I wanted it back years later for F tuba lit

I've been wondering if there were other tubists that play the harmonica too...the elephant wrote:And it is "Harmonia" rather than "Harmonica".
