That’s a nice looking horn, even if the bell isn’t original.

Not original? Would have fooled me if you didn't tell me. Looks the same as the rest of the tuba, plus a big fat kranz on it, like an older Miraphone would have.

At any rate, whatever that bell is, the replacement job was done well!

I suppose the original serial number would have been on the bell, so it's harder to get a date for the body.
