THIS ITEM HAS SOLD I've sold one euphonium, another is in the works, and now I'm posting this beautiful vintage Imperial Eb 15" bell Tuba for sale, all to make room for a new acquisition I have my eyes on.
This one is indeed a beauty and these don't come along often this condition! I bought it in 2018 with the idea of Brass Banding which didn't work out due to an aging ensemble and my own time constraints. I paid $2900 at the time for it FWIW. This thing is a tank and in incredible condition for it's age. There is some denting on the knuckles coming off the 3rd valve circuit which you can see in the picture. It has had a main slide cut done in the past and plays IN TUNE. I do not believe it has had a Fletcher cut. It currently has a large shank receiver, but the original euro receiver and the strap eyelets come with the horn as well. A wonderful solo, quintet or possibly Brass Band horn with the classic British sound. I did a cursory polish for photos, but it shines up way better even. I'd obviously prefer not to ship it from Florida, but if that is what is necessary I will work with the buyer. I'll also travel to meet someone if the location is reasonable. The deal I am offering for now is $2500 and, if shipped, you pay the shipping via something mutually agreed upon. There is no case included, one did not come with it. Payment can be by PayPal for friends and family or Zelle. Thanks for looking and if interested please hit me up via PM here on Tubenet.

I have one now, and they are magnificent. Prefer it to the 982 I used to own. These are canons!

Ooh, tempting, this is in much better shape than my 1979 example in brass.

What a beauty!

What is that mask in the background? Also cool. And tha old-ish looking trombone looks cool too (I have a thing for older well worn trombones)

Hey Bort I just re-read up in this thread, apologize I hadn't seen your post. The Trombone is a cool older Bach 36 I found locally a couple years ago that the seller's story has it came via DJ Kennedy. It's a beauty, the rotor, bell section, and slide all Bach 36 sourced of different vintages expertly pieced together. I'm certainly not a great trombonist, but the slide is way smooth, the rotor quiet and the tone amazing. The mask is one of a couple we have from years ago I believe out of Mexico found in a Florida flea market and we always suspected for indigenous psychedelic ceremonial purposes. Thanks to you and Bloke for the nice comments on this horn. Although I hate to let it go, life goes on. This Baby has just SOLD and I've pieced together the funds for a new toy. I considered a Wessex french C in lacquer (which was back ordered to November) so now I have a beautiful New to Me CC Piggy on the way. Very excited!
