Posting for a friend of a friend:
For sale: a practically unused Miraphone 186 five-valve CC tuba. $7800.
This tuba was ordered from the factory, but before the tuba arrived in the USA the buyer had a medical operation which made it impossible for him to play this tuba comfortably. It has been played for less than 12 hours total and is in immaculate condition. It comes with a brand-new Miraphone gig bag. It plays marvelously, and is an excellent example of this storied tuba model.
The tuba is currently in Knoxville, Tennessee. A friend of the seller is willing to drive a good distance to meet a buyer. The seller will not ship this tuba.
