Hey guys! Up for sale is my old 374. I don’t use it much, and I just have other needs right now that need meeting more! This is an awesome horn that still sounds great. It does have some wear and signs of repair, but everything sounds great and it is fresh out of the shop. Places of note as pictured:
-lots of wear around 4th valve; no actual damage though!
-bell crease has been smoothed out very well
-dent repaired in the 3rd valve slide: alignment is still smooth and the valve works perfectly!
-lacquer wear in the lead pipe; I freaked out and thought this was red rot, but the guys in the shop were thorough and assured me it was just lacquer wear.
Overall this is a great playing horn with a ton of life left in it! I am the 3rd owner (counting its’ life as a demo horn) and I think it will be a great first horn for a music major or an awesome doubler horn for a tuba player. I’m asking $1800, plus shipping. Horn is located in Lubbock TX, and we can try to work out shipping via Greyhound. Thanks for looking!
