Hi all -

I'm selling my Willson 3050 CC tuba. It's just too big for my needs. This is truly an "Orchestra Specific" instrument as it has a very large and wide sound. Intonation is wonderful and the tone is beautiful.

Matt Walters spent several hours tweaking - unsoldering slides, etc..... so there are some small blotches from wiping the solder. And, of course, Matt's work made it play incredibly better than before.

It's silver plated and is only 6 months old. No dents. Comes with 2 tuning slides and an inadequate DEG gig bag - also 6 months old.

Instrument is located in New Jersey and, unfortunately, I don't want to ship it out - so you'll have to come to me to try it.

I had the privilege of trying out this horn at Dillon's when Scott was there. I have tried several examples of the Willson 3050's and this one is by far the best I've ever played. Very consistent throughout the range with intonation and ease of play. Awesome sound! All with the Master's (Matt Walters) magical tweaking. I encourage anyone looking for a large CC tuba to try this one out. Also, an incredible price for the superb instrument you would receive. Just sharing my 2 cents.
