Here is a low-cost entry into the world of 4-valve tubas. I rescued this school horn and had a tech go through it, rolling out and patching dents and crinkles, and getting valves and slides working well. Lot of life left in this one! I have a hard case (DEG?) that will be included if it fits. I haven't tried it yet...

A hard case is now included in the $1000 price. It is one of the ubiquitous tolex-covered plywood cases that makes me think of DEG. I will add a couple photos to the album later today.

I played one in high school (it was my director's). I would gladly trade in my 1241 for this, but alas, it's condition is playable and that's about all.

I am not interested in trades right now. I informed my wife that I would be REDUCING the number of tubas (and trombones) in the house. If I end up SHUFFLING tubas instead of REDUCING them, she will know. She is very smart that way...
