I am helping a friend out West sell some musical instruments.
For sale: Lovely instrument.
Bb euphonium, low pitch
On bell:
US Q.M.D.
Superior
Trade (engraving of trumpet) Mark
Henry Distin,
Maker,
Williamsport, PA,
Highest Grade,
This serial number -#6671-dates it to c. 1890.
Valves are fine,
Body is in very good shape,
Finish could use some work here and there.
Beautiful Distin scrollwork all over
Lovely rich sound, plays easily
I have a couple of mouthpieces that fit it. c. 1891.
