Reynolds Contempora 3V recording bass SOLD

Post by CookinLowAndSlow »

Edit: SOLD
Reynolds Contempora 3 valve front piston with new thumb ring, water key, felts. Valves, slides all work well. Big, full sound!
Based on the serial number I believe it's from the early 1950s - predates the 1st valve contraption some of these have.
It's a bit lumpy but not leaky as far as I can tell, and is super solid and tough. I purchased a Mack TU210 and one of the others in the stable has to go.
I've never shipped a tuba, so I prefer local pickup. I'm centrally located 2 mins off I-80 just south of Chicago.
