SOLD: Small shank Eb tuba mouthpieces

Post by Matt Walters »

Okay,
I have a 'two for' offer here. Two small shank Eb tuba mouthpieces priced at $25 each or $40 for the pair. The price includes Post Office shipping in the Conus 48 states. No calipers at home but I can tell you these are smaller than a Dennis Wick 3 tuba mouthpiece. About like a Wick 4 in size. I had fun with these whenever I picked up a small shank tuba and wanted to play it just for fun or test it out. I don't see myself buying any more Eb tubas for future projects. I have enough projects to last me for now so I am offering these up.

1st) The Herco on the left is a VERY DEEP funnel cup and I think it is a rare mouthpiece. I've never come across another one in all my years. The picture does not do it justice. Stamped Eb on the other side. I think the mouthpiece was nickel plated so if you are allergic to Nickel, this isn't for you. I've never see another small shank tuba mouthpiece close to as deep as this.
2nd) The Elkhorn is almost all raw brass but it too was fun to have for a quick play test of small shank tubas. I just couldn't throw it out. You'll see.

Price is cheap enough that if you fall in love with either or both, you can get them dressed down and silver plated.
I'll accept a check from someone I know, but PayPal is quick and easy.
