Below are the stock specs on this instrument from hornguys.com

This is a hand made professional CC tuba custom built in Mainz, Germany. Its rotary valves are .808" bore, and construction is very light yellow brass. The bell is made the old fashioned way, with a large hand-hammered piece of brass finished with a triangle seam. This method of production requires a lot of skill and is considered a superior way to build a bell flare. It doesn't get much classier than an Alexander tuba. These are very light instruments, and they're simply alive when you play them. Similar lightweight models are made by Rudolph Meinl, Gronitz, and Adams, and all these are distinct from the heavier offerings from B&S, Miraphone, and Willson.

6/4 CC Chicago Presence-TC694H0 **SOLD**

Good condition, about 2 years old. I find with the 6/4 tuba fad this tuba makes the most sense. Most of us don’t NEED 6/4 C for daily use but the smaller, 18 inch bell makes it more reasonable for more settings. The sound is very clear, present (ha!), and colorful. Too big for many situations but more versatile than it’s 20 inch-belled brethren. It has really immediate response that seems to jump from the bell. The intonation is better than average, especially for a tuba of this size.

All slide and valves are in perfect working order. There are a pair of small dings that I will do my best to photograph. I am happy to take any additional photos upon request.

The only tweaks I’ve made was that I had the lead pipe bent up for ergonomic reasons by Terry Ghiselli in San Antonio. Instrument is in Houston.

B&S 3100W (PT-9)

This is a very special instrument. It is a true copy of the old 6 valve Symphonie modell. It features a truly graduated bore and a beautiful singing voice. If you know how to blow these things they are supremely easy to play with very good intonation.

This tuba had an accident and the bell was damaged. I’m selling this tuba for a friend, so I never played it before the damage but the bell vibrates well and to my eye there doesn't seem to be any tension in any slides as they all move freely.

Comes with a tuba world gig bag. Instrument is in Houston. Feel free to message me with any questions.

Wessex F Cimbasso – CB90P **SOLD**

This Cimbasso is a good example of the model. It is in nearly perfect condition, with only a small ding on the bell. I tried my best to capture it in a photo. Martin Wilk did some work on the valves making them more reliable. It comes with the cimbasso stand sold by Wessex.

$3600

Below is some information from Wessex on their cimbasso in F.

The cimbasso was originally an Italian instrument specified by Verdi and other Italian opera composers to be used as the bass voice for the brass in the orchestra instead of a tuba. It is also used in Italian bands and is becoming increasingly popular for playing film music in the recording studio, for jazz and whenever a different voice would be effective. The cimbasso has a big trombone like sound which makes it blend well with the trombone section, rather than standing out as an individual voice like the tuba. It is played with a tuba size mouthpiece and is distinct from the contrabass trombone in having valves, rather than a slide.

The Wessex F cimbasso is based on a NB German design, but has improvements including extra bracing to make it stronger in use. This cimbasso plays superbly well, being easy blowing, with a characteristic tone and good tuning. It works well in providing tonal variation in a recital and played softly without attack therefore making it a good substitute for a muted tuba (with much better tone). It is also incredible fun to play. The feedback from professionals is that this F cimbasso is of high quality and plays just as well as the most expensive cimbasso available. After playing this cimbasso for Italian music, it makes the music complete as the composer intended - no tuba will sound quite the same. This is an instrument any serious orchestral tuba player will want to add to their collection.

Specs below

These are compensating euphoniums hand made by Willson in Switzerland. These are considered some of the premier euphoniums in the world, alongside Hirsbrunner and Adams.
The 2900 is the most popular of all Willson euphoniums. The slightly smaller bell diameter allows some extra ease of travel and case choices, and lets more of the high frequencies of your tone ring out into the room, adding clarity and crispness of tone. The mouthpiece receiver size is fairly rare for a modern instrument. It's not small shank trombone, it's not large shank trombone. It's right in the middle. We call it the Besson/Willson/Euro size. Stock mouthpieces are available from Denis Wick, Schilke and Faxx. Other sizes may be ordered from Josef Klier and other makers. You will face limited size choices whenever you seek such a mouthpiece. Why is this instrument the most popular of the Willsons? Somehow this receiver size resulted in a perfect fit, the best pitch, and an easy response.

Pitch: Bb
Valves: 4 valves, compensating
Bore: 15.0 / 16.8mm (0.590" / 0.661")
Bell: Seamless yellow brass 3150, 290mm / 11.41"
Weight: 4.5kg / 9.9 lbs
Stainless steel pistons are non-corrosive
4 stainless steel valves with valve springs underneath
Innovative water key rubber to reduce interruption of air flow
3 water keys
Convenient hand rest
Medium size traditional European mouthpiece receiver
