Meinl Weston 3450 CC lacquer FS

Retiring from most orchestral playing, time to start selling some tubas. Next up is my MW 3450 CC. Asking $8000.
I've used it a fair amount for freelance small ensemble gigs and in some performances with the Charleston Symphony and Hilton Head Symphony Orchestras.
Great big sound and low range in a compact horn, my favorite being the pedal Eb. I purchased it new to be a match to my MW 2141 Eb several years ago. I removed the bracing from the second valve slide due to extreme tension and never felt the need to put it back.
Uses standard American shank mouthpiece. Includes padded Meinl Weston bag.
Pictured are 3450 CC (left) and 1291 CC (right) for comparison.
I am a professional instrument repair technician with 25 years in the trade and am the author of "Guide to Brass Musical Instrument Repair" utilized at the repair schools and available online. This is my personal horn.
The instrument is located in Charleston, SC. Can ship from my shop if necessary, would send on pallet via freight.
