News Flash!!!! On Thursday evening, February 23, MTSU and the McLean School of Music will be hosting the Principal Trombonist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Christian Ganicenco. He will be joined by Nashville Symphony trombonists Susan Smith and Steve Brown (bass trombone). The class will meet from 6-8 p.m. in SFA 301 at the School of Music.

Masterclass schedule:
6 p.m.
Mr. Ganicenco performance: Bernstein's Elegy for Mippy II, Albinoni Sonata in B minor for alto trombone, selected excerpts from the orchestral trombone repertoire

~6:30 p.m.
Short student performances and clinic (short performances, not students!)

~7 p.m.
Mr. Ganicenco discusses tone concepts, technique, and open-ended question/answer
