Post by TTkatz »

Hey everyone--

I'm giving a recital on April 17th, 2006 at 5pm in Katzin Concert Hall at Arizona State University. Program is as follows:

Six Studies in English Folk Song -Vaughan Williams

Concerto for Tuba - John Williams

Variations on a Tyrolean Song - JB Arban

Laurie's Song - Aaron Copland

Sermon - Christopher Yavelow Johnson (don't miss this one! absolutely crazy!)

Sermon? Sam suggested that one to me not too long ago. I'm glad to see someone actually putting that together. Break a leg!

Allen--

The copland is out of the "copland 2000" series published by Boosey and Hawkes. It's for all instruments and has piano accomp. available.

Becareful though---I found 7 mistakes in the solo part for Laurie's Song ALONE when i referenced the score. However, I'm still trying to figure out whether or not the edition i referenced is correct.

hopefully i can figure it out before monday!!

I'll also be in Virginia for a day and a half this summer so i'll let you know when that's going to be maybe we can catch up!
