Except for the "Tuba mirum" solo, this is not tuba related. This coming Thursday evening, Nov. 2, I will be singing the bass solos in an All Souls' Day mass/performance of Mozart's Requiem. Mass begins at 7:30 p.m. at Seattle's St. James Cathedral, 9th and Marion Streets. Pro orchestra, the fabulous St. James Cathedral Choir, Fr. Michael Ryan, Celebrant. Done the way Mozart intended it--not a concert performance! Come early if you want to get a seat.
