Colonial Tuba Quartet Concert Sunday, Newark, DE

Post by windshieldbug »

"Folks,

I'm writing to invite you to attend a concert of the Colonial Tuba Quartet this Sunday (11/4/2007), The concert is at 3:00 in the Gore Recital Hall of the new Center for the Performing Arts on the UD campus.

The quartet disbanded seveven years ago and is getting together for the first time since then. The players include euphoniumists Bob Powers (of the US Army Band), myself, Gary Bird (retired professor of tuba at Indiana University, PA), and Greg Fritze (chair of the composition department at the Berklee School in Boston).

Come and hear us play and Spread the Word.

Jay"

- D. Jay Hildebrandt, low brass, University of Delaware

I'm just spreading the word, as Jay requested. I don't know, but anything with Jay in it is rarely boring... :D
