Post by DonShirer »

Merry TubaChristmas!

Connecticut's TubaChristmas will be held at the Morgan School in Clinton, CT (27 Killingworth Turnpike, next to I-95 exit 63) on Saturday, December 8, 2007.

Registration is at 11:30 a.m., rehearsal at 12 noon, and the concert begins at 2 p.m. in the beautiful, warm and comfortable Morgan School auditorium. Bring a music stand!

All players of tuba, euphonium, helicon, ophicleide, serpent, tenor tuba, baritone, sousaphone, basshorn and others of the conical low brass persuasion are invited to participate, no matter what age or performance level. There is a tax deductible $5 registration for Phillips Foundation student scholarships.

For more information, contact our maestro, Gary Buttery at
(860) 447-9964 or 2bsn@sbcglobal.net

Is this now the only TubaChristmas in Connecticut?

Unfortunately, this is the same date as the CMEA Middle School Southern Regional auditions :(
