Steve Rosse, Principal Tuba with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, will be presenting two camps during February, In Thailand and Sydney!!!

Bangkok 1-3 Feb 2008

Sydney 8-10 Feb 2008

Hosted by Lerkiert and Steve, Silpakorn University, Bangkok
Presented by TubaMania International and Silpakorn University

Steve Rosse (Sydney Symphony, Lecturer Sydney Conservatorium, Visiting Professor Silpakorn University)
Roland Szentpali (Hungary, International Tuba Solo Artist)
XL Tuba Quartet (Croatia)
Thomas Allely, The Queensland Orchestra (Brisbane, Australia)
**Philip Brink, Bass Trombone Thailand Philharmoic Orchestra, Mahidol University

Artists Itinerary:

31st or before: Szentpali, Tuba Quartet, Allely arrive BKK, rehearse with pianist in evening
Thurs 31 Jan: Rosse arrives , reh with pianist

Fri 1 Feb: 1-2pm Rosse/ Allely opening recital ,
2-3 welcome social gathering, light lunch
3-5PM Rosse Group Lesson including Breathing and how to practice, group tuba ensemble sightreading Szentpali reh with piano
6PM welcome dinner and party

Sat 2 Feb, 10-12 Thomas Allely Masterclass,
12 lunch
**1PM CC Tuba with Trombones recital and demonstration: Rosse & Brink********
3PM recital Roland Szentpali and XL Tuba Quartet

Sun 3 Feb, 10-12 XL Tuba Quartet give Masterclass,
12 Lunch
1PM Szentpali Masterclass ,
2PM Szentpali, Rosse Allely, H&K Quarter members etc to conduct student tuba euphonium ensemble,
3-5PM THAI TUBA RECITAL Manit, Boonchai (TBC) then Student Concert *****
6PM final party and farewell (at Bamboo??? haha)

Mon 4th Feb, possible performances/ visits to Croationa, Hungarian, and AUstralian embassise
Tues 5th free time to Pattaya or some place for sightseeing.....floating market, etc (namtalart)
Wed 6th free day fly to SYdney overninght

Sounds like a great program of activities full of exceptional musicians; wish I could make it! And I see a Kiwi has made it onto the bill; go get 'em, Thomas!
