Richard White, Tuba extraordinaire, will perform with the New Mexico Winds, a faculty woodwind quintet in residence at UNM. The quintet consists of Valerie Porter, flute; Kevin Vigneau, oboe; Keith Lemmons, clarinet; Denise Reig Turner, bassoon; JD Shaw, horn. Richard will perform Concerto St. Marc by Albinoni. The arrangement of Concerto St. Marc was done by Michael Zavoski. The arrangement was intended to expand the tuba liturature in a chamber music setting. And the combination of solo tuba and woodwind quintet is definately unique. The arrangement (including a sample page and audio clip) is available here:
