NYC Tuba Christmas Today: Rain or Shine

Today's Tuba Christmas at Rockefeller Center will take place rain or shine, as we pay tribute to Harvey Phillips. So come join us. There will be guest speakers including CBS' Harry Smith (himself a tuba player) and Howard Johnson. We will have a special montage of photos from throughout Harvey's life.

Location and Registration/Rehearsal Info below:

LOCATION: "The Rink at Rockefeller Center'

REGISTRATION: 11:30 am, Rockefeller Center loading/delivery area. Enter northside of 50th St. (between 5th & 6th Avenues), east of Radio City Music Hall stage door, down ramp.

REHEARSAL: 12:30, same location as registration

NOTE: Please use gig bag, leave case in your car. Wear warm, bright festive colors. Bring folding music stand/lyre and wind clips/clothes pins.

CONDUCTOR: Chris Wilhjelm, former conductor of the Goldman Memorial Band.
