Gato Loco Coconino (the "Psycho-Mambo" large band)

Gato Loco was born from the streets of New York. Exotic and foreign, yet simultaneously urban and familiar. Their live show delivers an instant party, filled with celebration and joy; like a decadent latin mambo ballroom, thrown in the midst of a 21st century rock show : this is BIG music. The 11-piece group will be celebrating it's world-wide release on Winter & Winter Records.

...Gato Loco plays original compositions by NYC reedist Stefan Zeniuk. The tuba role in this band is awesome!!...it’s a horn, occasionally a bass, sometimes a soloist. He continually finds ways to kick my ***!! The parts are intense and utilize and mix and match just about every style and range possible on a tuba. (orchestral, jazz, salsa, funk, rock, Banda.... ever hear a Merengue Fugue?)
