7/28 - Blue Bells of Scotland on Begian Memorial Concert

Post by DaTubaKid »

Hello everyone,

I wanted to bring it to the attention of everyone in the Chicago area that I will be performing Blue Bells of Scotland with the Wheaton Municipal Band on July 28th at 8pm in Wheaton's Memorial Park (IL). This concert is also a memorial concert for Dr. Harry Begian, so there are bound to be many other wonderful works on the program. I do not know any specifics yet, but I do know they will be programming many of Dr. Begian's favorite works for band.

I hope you all can make it out to this wonderful event, and be sure to stop by behind the band shell and say hi afterwards (whether I've met your or not!).

See you all there!

Rehearsal with the band was great last night! Tons of fantastic rep on this concert, many great guest conductors, guests in the band, and even a extra guest soloist. If you can make it out to the concert tonight, you will be in for a real treat!

Make sure you come back behind the bandshell afterwards and say hi. Hope to see you all there!
