The College of Fine Arts, School of Music and the Tuba-Euphonium Studio at Illinois State University in Normal, IL are pleased to welcome international tuba soloist Øystein Baadsvik to campus on October 21, 2012 for our annual OcTubaFest. Øystein will present a masterclass at 1:00pm and a recital at 3:00pm. Both events will be held in Kemp Recital Hall and admission is free. I would guess that you are probably correct, however, this is just a posting about his visit to Illinois State University, not an ad for his entire tour.
I would recommend contacting Mr. Baadsvik's booking agent directly(I believe you can find that info in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=48726" target="_blank" target="_blank), or checking his website (not sure if he lists that information on there).
Bump for an awesome event this Sunday. In addition to Øystein's performance and masterclass, Roger Lewis from Miraphone will be on campus with a truckload of tubas and euphoniums for folks to try out. The exhibit will be available from 11:00am until 1:00pm, between the masterclass and recital and for a short time following the recital. This will be held in Centennial East Room 220.
