Ed Livingston Memorial Concert at Illinois State University

Hi All...

This Saturday, April 13, 2013, the School of Music at Illinois State University will be paying a musical tribute to our long-time tuba and euphonium professor, Ed Livingston, who passed away this past summer from cancer.

The concert begins at 2:00pm and will feature the following former students in solo performance:

Rex Martin, Northwestern University
Marty Erickson, Lawrence Conservatory
Andy Carlson, US Navy Band
Ed Risinger, Illinois Wesleyan University
Andy Rummel, Illinois State University

In addition to solo performances, there will be an alumni euphonium quartet as well as a massed tuba-euphonium ensemble comprised of former students and friend of Ed Livingston. Finally, we will be unveiling a portrait of Ed that commissioned for this occasion. It will be a wonderful day!
