Maryland All-State Community Band

Post by Heavy_Metal »

featuring the best musicians from community bands in Maryland, will perform July 21st at River Hill High School, Clarksville, MD. Dr. Harlan Parker of Peabody will conduct. Poster is attached, and I'll fill in the music titles when I get them.

The school is on MD 108 just north of MD 32 and south of Columbia.

The band will have 54 musicians, with three tubas. :tuba: :tuba: :tuba:

Congrats. I don't think I've ever met you or Nicholas (though his name sounds familiar). I know Neal well, I played with him for many years. Great guy!

Sounds great. I was wondering how were the musicians selected for this group?

Great idea! Maybe we could do that here in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts.

I know Frank (Heavy_Metal), in my opinion he deserves the honor.

Good job, you will have fun!

Sounds pretty neat. If I were playing with a comm. band these days I would have considered this.
