An Ann Arbor tradition in its sixteenth year, this free, annual event brings together over 40 tuba and euphonium players in a fun and festive musical showcase. Holiday carols are heard as never before as these instruments show off their melodic and harmonious qualities. Conducted by Bass Trombonist George Thompson, this family favorite gets bigger and better every year. Dress warmly and come enjoy (and sing along if you wish) TubaChristmas Ann Arbor!! The Kerrytown Farmers’ Market is located at 415 N. Fifth Ave at Detroit St.
Participants: Registration at 9:30 A.M. in the University of Michigan School of Music (1100 Baits Drive, Ann Arbor 48105-2085) on the University of Michigan North Campus. Participants registrations fee is $8.00. Rehearsal will be from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon. Participants need to bring a lunch and a music stand (with clothespins) or lyre. A hat, gloves and sunglasses are also recommended. Music will be available for $16.00 and TubaChristmas Hats will be available for purchase.
