Hey,
I'm playing the tenor tuba part on this concert and jtuba is playing tuba on this concert. The orchestra is pretty rough (not so good) but if you are bored and in the Atlanta area and you want to hear Ein Heldenleben, come on by. The tix are a little expensive, but maybe you could sneak in.
Anyhow,

LOL!
well, I know that the tuba playing will be good, I should do fine (I think)
the bass trombonists won the new world spot, but turned it down to join the Army here in Atlanta to pay off his student loans, so he should be killin' and I'm not sure who else is playing, but they usually hire good brass players (sometimes with a few exceptions). So there might be some good that comes out of it depending on what you are going to go hear. But, I bet if you get there a little early and just walk backstage, you might just be able to walk out into the audience right before the concert starts
you might be able to enjoy a few parts of the concert without a monetary exchange. And it's a great piece.

p.s. if you sneak in come talk to me after!
