Dr. Stephen Shoop- Solo Tuba Recital at Navarro College- It Sounds Even Better on Tuba

It Sounds Even Better on Tuba is a solo recital of pieces originally composed for voice or a musical instrument other than tuba. These works have been selected and transcribed/arranged/edited by Dr. Stephen Shoop. This same recital program will be performed at two International Tuba-Euphonium Association (ITEA) Regional Conferences this semester, where Dr. Shoop will appear as an invited guest tuba solo performer. Dr. Shoop will be accompanied on piano by Dr. Amanda Hughes.

The recital will take place on Friday, February 23, 2024, 11:30 a.m. at Caston Fine Arts Center on the Navarro College campus, 3200 West 7th Avenue, Corsicana, Texas, 75110. The performance is free-of-charge and open to the public.
