Benefit Concert for Katrina Victims!

Friday evening, 7:30 p.m. cst, Van Meter Auditorium on campus at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY

The Iota Mu Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia has put together a benefit concert for the Katrina Victims in New Orleans and Mississippi. ALL proceeds will go to the relief fund at the American Red Cross. As of right now, the program will feature the Iota Mu Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Choir singing the Star Spangled Banner among other selections, many WKU faculty performing, including some New Orleans style pieces and charts from our faculty jazz quintet, many WKU student performers on various selections, and more to come later. This will be posted in the papers everywhere around the Bowling Green area. If you are within driving distance and can attend, please do and tell others about it. We want to raise as much money as possible to send to these folks down in the New Orleans area that was hit by Hurricane Katrina. These people have it worse than we could ever imagine and need our help! Let me know if you're interested in coming and I can give you directions to get to Bowling Green. I hope to see some of you in attendance.
