At its Nov 5 concert the Connecticut Symphonic Band will feature yours truly with Tim McNary doing "Softly As I Leave You", arranged by Barry Morrison for the West Point Band. There will be a lot of other heavy stuff on the program, such as the Sorcerer's Apprentice, Bald Mountain, the Flying Dutchman, and the Symphonie Fantastique; a real workout for the low brass!
