The Twenty-Seventh Annual TubaMeister Christmas will be held Saturday, December 17, 2005 culminating with a concert at 12:00 noon at the Arneson River Theater. The event, sponsored by the local brass ensemble The TubaMeisters, is presented annually, featuring Christmas music performed by an 80-100 member all-volunteer group of tuba, euphonium, and baritone horn players, of all ages and walks of life. The TubaMeisters will also perform a few carols. The concert is free to the public.

Anyone who is able to play one of the lower brass instruments is invited to participate in the actual performance. Registration for participants begins at 9:45 a.m., at St. Johns Lutheran Church, with a rehearsal to follow at 10:30. Cost for participants is $5.00. Participants should bring a music stand or lyre and must provide their own instrument..
