The Princeton Brass Band will perform in concert this Sunday, October 23, at the Princeton Church of Christ, 33 River Road, Princeton, NJ USA, at 4pm. Under the direction of Dr. Stephen Arthur Allen, the band will perform the following works (subject to the usual last minute changes)-

Thanks Glen. What a good experience that was! Not a flawless solo on my part, but I was very happy with it for first time at bat as a soloist since 1984, and it was a thrill and an honor to play in front of the band. The musicianship and spirit of the band are both very high. And Roger Thorne has done a tremendous thing for baritone players with that piece - it's just a really high-quality brass band work - nice work throughout the band, good listening for the audience.

Nothing forces you to improve like the pressure of a solo! Hope to do it again sometime.
