Attention Pittsburgh are tuba and euphonium players: Please join us for the 2005 annual Octubafest tuba/euphoinum day at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh!

All events are on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22 in the recital hall at the Mary Pappert School of Music, Duquesne Univeristy. ADMISSION IS FREE AND THE PUBLIC IS INVITED AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. Bring a horn!

Euphonium instructor Lance LaDuke (River City Brass Band) and tuba instructor Craig Knox (Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra) will host the event. We will begin with a master class/clinic with Craig Knox (1PM-3PM). All in attendance will be invited to join in a tuba ensemble reading session at 3PM. At 5PM, Craig Knox will perform in a recital which will also feature Duquesne tuba and euphonium students and the Duquesne tuba/euphonium ensemble.

This will be my first Octubafest at Duquesne, but I am told it is always a great time. We hope to see you there!
