Alan Baer Masterclass in Toronto

The Glenn Gould School of Music is pleased to be hosting a day of masterclasses with Alan Baer. It will take place on February 3, 2006 at the temporary location of the Royal Conservatory of Music, located at 90 Croatia St, near Dufferin and Bloor in Toronto. There will be a class in the morning from 10 am - 12:30 pm and then in the afternoon from 2 - 4:30 pm. Attendance is free and open to the public, though only students of the Glenn Gould School will be allowed to play.

Alan Baer is not only a great player, but an extremely articulate and systematic pedagogue, and a first rate instrument technician and designer. I am certain that his class will be of interest and value to brass players of all instruments and levels.
