Knoxville Wind Symphony 5/8

The Knoxville Wind Symphony will be playing its second concert Next Monday, May 8th at the Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville, TN. The show begins at 7:30 with a short program by the Central High School Band. The KWS program will be:

I hope to hear at least a recording of this group soon.
Jay Romines is one of the greatest musicians ever. He was our symphonic wind ensemble director for part of my undergrad. Some of the things he wanted us to do musically just went over our heads...... It took getting to a different place in my life to realize, "Oh yeah, that's what he meant". If you see Jay, tell him I said, "Hi".
