Greetings all,

I will be giving a faculty tuba recital on Wednesday, September 27 at 8pm in Bryan Recital Hall at Bowling Green State University. The recital is free and open to the public. I will be performing Telemann, Debussy, Schumann, Ewazen, Muczynski and Goedicke. I hope to see a number of you there.

In addition, I will also be performing a reduced version of the recital at Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan on September 21 at 12noon.

If you have any question feel free to drop me a line...

Which piece by Muczynski? I'm not familiar with his works... And the Goedicke, is it the Concert Etude?

Greetings,

Scooby, thanks for the plug!

To answer Jon's question, the Muczynski is the Impromptus for Solo Tuba. The work date from the 70s, and has never been recorded. It will be on my cd, which will hopefully be available by January. The Goedicke is the Concert Etude originally for trumpet and piano.

Hope to see everyone there!

Greetings,

Just thought I'd give the recital a last-minute bump. It is going to be a lot of fun. Hope to see some of you there!
