The Boston Mountain Brassworks is the faculty brass quintet of the University of Arkansas. They are finishing up a tour through Texas with a stop at Richardson High School. It is a performance of light classics and some contemporary (quite palatable and easy on the ears) tunes. It will be a casual concert of about one hour with no intermission. Admission is free and this is a great opportunity for the kids to get a taste of something different in a casual setting and at an easily accessible location.
The tubas should especially take note to attend. The tuba teacher at the U of A is Ben Pierce and he is a phenom! He is equally virtuosic on tuba and euphonium.
