Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that my former student Zach Graff from Texas is going to be featured on the radio show, From The Top. He is the winner of Falcone, Student Division this year. Please check your local schedule!

I couldn't find a listing for Zach's appearance at the
From the Top website.
When and where was his performance recorded?
Any rough idea of when it will be aired/syndicated?
What piece(s) did he play?

Not sure of the show # (I'd guess it's either 148 or 149), but it was recorded in NC. He played the 1st mvt of the Bach Flute Sonata in Eb (same one recorded by Floyd Cooley), as well as a piece for children's choir and solo tuba (can't recall the title or composer at the moment). You should check here for broadcast dates/times:
http://www.fromthetop.org/Programs/RadioStations.cfm?
According to Zach, the show should air between Dec 30 and Jan 02.

This is from Zach...
If you are not able to listen to From the Top this week it is on
http://www.npr.org/templates/rundowns/r ... p?prgId=43 .
Later in the week it will be on the From the Top website (
www.fromthetop.org <http> ). The Children's Choir with tuba solo piece is about 6:30 into the first choir recording on the website. Happy new year.

Carol played
Estrellita and
Flight of the Bumble Bee on the FTT episode when she was 17. On what other FTT programs did she appear/perform?
