Will the REAL Tony Granados play a pedal C!?

Post by Mark N. »

Tony's concert is a fun one. But...the UNCG quartet's real name is Tubas in the Sun. Let's get it right Tony! 8)

And we will play whatever we damn well please because I'm so much older than you! :D

(Just kidding.....sort of.)

Thanks Paul for your support. Tony does a really great job with the kids. He has a unique ability to recruit and motivate. Also, they play very well.

In response to Ken's post, we are doing the following...

Semis:
Canzona - Buxtehude/ arr. Mazura
Prelude and Dance - Gregory Fritze

Finals:
Brummadza's Dance - Laszlo
Four Miniatures - Forbes

Unfortunately we are only doing mvts. 1 and 2 of the Forbes as changed two weeks ago. We were looking forward to doing all of it.

See you in Hungary!

Paul, Thanks for dropping by and listening.

Mark, thanks for bringing the guys out to play. You added a lot to the show, and sounded great.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement.

Good luck to Tubas in the Sun in Hungary.
