I am taking the liberty of letting people know about this. I am not affiliated with the group in any way. Tommorow night May 8th Andrew Tucker will perform the Vaughan Williams Tuba Concerto with the Lone Star Wind Orchestra. The program also includes Candide Overture and a transcription of Pictures at an Exhibition. The concert will take place at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas at 8pm. This should be a very good concert.

The group is really good because of the Euphoniums

Really, it's because of the the tubas, specifically their note at the beginning of the Catacombs movement of Pictures.

This ensemble sounds fantastic on the MP3 excerpts on its website!
Jamie, you and others who are members of the Lone Star Wind Orchestra are very fortunate to be involved in such a great sounding group.
