ITEA's NERTEC 2007

The U.S. Coast Guard Band and ITEA will be hosting NERTEC 2007 on September 21-23.

CONFERENCE WEBSITE

All events are FREE and open to the public and will take place in Leamy Hall on the grounds of the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. We are located directly in-between New York and Boston on I-95, 40 minutes west of Providence.

The conference will feature chamber and solo recitals, masterclasses, exhibits, and a concert by the US Coast Guard Band with featured soloists. The conference begins at 7:00pm on Friday and concludes with a finale concert at 2pm on Sunday.

Some highlights include world premieres of music by Barbara York and Elizabeth Raum, a performance of James Woodward's Tuba Concerto with Mike Roylance as soloist, and a special tribute to the music of Don Butterfield.
