Sounds like a nice program(me?), but they seem to suffer the same ailment that American wind bands (the Marines, etc.) suffer from- transcriptions, transcriptions, transcriptions! I know transcriptions of stuff people already know sell better, but I would like to see more original band works.

This is getting way too deep for me. All I want to do is enjoy playing the music (whoever wrote it) with a fine band!

Hear, Hear! Personal philosophy notwithstanding, this Wagner chap did write some killer low brass stuff.
