Just letting you all in the Birmingham, AL area know about some good tuba stuff coming up soon:

Oct. 16 (as previously posted by Martin Cochran) - I'll be soloing with the University of Montevallo Wind Ensemble

October 26 and 27 - Alabama Symphony Orchestra performing Symphonie Fantastique (w/ Derek Fenstermacher helping me out)

October 30 - ASO Concertmaster and Friends (yes that's right, a tubist can be friends with a concertmaster) featuring our incredible concertmaster, Daniel Szasz, assistant principal bass, Brian Doyle, and myself in a concert entitled "Baroque with a Twist."

You can check out the ASO website for more info: www.alabamasymphony.org

or contact me at: millerwa@aol.com

Be sure to say "howdy" afterwards if you can make it!
