Performing Artists Dr. Marc Dickman, Mr. Paul Weikle, and tuba and euphonium Students from FCCJ and UNF. Special Guest Artist Dr. Kelly Thomas, Professor of Tuba and Euphonium, University of Arizona. Dr. Thomas is sponsored in part by Besson Musical Instruments.
Program for the Octubafest
Mass Ensemble Rehearsal/Clinic 5:00 – 6:30 pm Wilson Center Stage
Concert 7:30 pm Wilson Center Stage
The Mass Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble rehearsal and its performance are open to all area student, amateur and professional musicians. All ensemble participants need to attend rehearsal in order to perform on the concert. Music will be passed out at the rehearsal. In case we do not have enough stands, please bring a folding stand of your own. We request that participants wear nice attire -- no jeans or tee shirts.
All events are free and open to the public. This event is being held on the South Campus of Florida Community College in the Wilson Center for the Performing Arts -- 11901 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32246.
