Mark Thiele, of The Presidents Own, and Mike Roylance, principal tubist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by Bob Boguslaw on piano will be putting on an evening of fantastic tuba music. Please come and support live tuba music.

There was a pretty good turnout. Nearly every seat in the recital hall was filled.

Mike and Mark alternated tunes with Mark kicking it off. After 4 solos and several great stories, they played the Amelia Duet, hope I got that title right, some of us have heard through internet broadcasts out of Boston.

It was a genuinely enjoyable evening of music. I am glad I chose to cut my bike riding short today to make time for the drive.

Thanks for posting this and working up the tunes. Some good stuff going on tonight.
