The University of Northern Iowa tuba/euphonium ensemble UNITUBA, under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Funderburk, will be giving a full-length recital this coming Thursday, 11/15, at 8:00 P.M. in Davis Hall at the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performance Arts Center in Cedar Falls, IA. This should be a great recital, and will be a lot of fun for those who attend. If you can't make it out to Cedar Falls, there's going to be a live webcast of the show that you can watch on your computer. The main theme of the recital is the music of Mozart, along with a piece composed by UNI SOM teacher Alan Schmitz, a Stevie Wonder piece performed by five sousaphones, and a belly dancer, (yes, there will be an actual belly dancer at the show!) I hope you can make it to the show, or watch online if you can't!
