2008 NORTHEAST TUBA EUPHONIUM WORKSHOP
July 5th to 13th
Endicott College in Beverly, MA

The instructors for the camp will be Mike Milnarik, tuba (Boston - USA) and Roland Froescher, euphonium (Berne - SWITZERLAND).

Some of the Guest Artist Concerts include:

* The Innovata Brass

* The Cosmopolitan Quartet
(Roland Froescher/Adam Frey, euphoniums and Matt Brown/Mike Milnarik, tubas)

* Dr. Fidgety Dixieland Jazz Band

* Faculty Recital: Roland Froescher, euphonium/Mike Milnarik, tuba/Sanae Kanda, piano

DESCRIPTION:

Nine day workshop which includes -

* Development of Daily Warm Up/Routine
* Masterclasses
* Clinics on various topics
* Panel Discussion with Cosmopolitan Quartet
* Tuba/Euphonium Quartets (daily coaching) for all.
* Participant Solo Recital with piano.
* Rehearsal with professional pianist.
* Private instruction with faculty.
* Large Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble for all.
* Nightly Guest Performances.
* Right across the road from the ocean! (What a view!)

...and of course - fun time, practice time, and hang time!

I'm going to be there too -- for the second time! Every day there are workouts together, individual lessons, ensemble rehearsals, concerts, practice, fun and socializing, and most of all, personal musical improvement. It's wonderful.

I look forward to seeing you there!

I was at the camp the last two years that it happened, and both times it was a great experience. It's a ton of fun, and you get to meet a lot of new people and learn a lot of new things!

Both instructors are great musicians and and great teachers. This is really something to consider this summer!
